Rolling Challenger
I strutted straight out into the clear afternoon sun, scanning the paving stones for anything foolish enough to cross my path. Right in the mossy groove between two slabs sat a glossy brown conker, totally round and sitting there like it ran the place. I didn't hesitate. I squared my shoulders, backed up a step, and delivered a solid body-ram right into its side. The hard little nut shot forward with a sharp clatter, rolling straight down the stone pathway until it smacked dead against the wooden garden gate. I puffed up my chest and watched it stay down.
