A Soft Tucking-In
I noticed the elf-hatted bear beside me looked a little chilly in the night air. Carefully hopping down from the headboard onto the mattress, I tugged at the corner of a heavy knit throw blanket. Every gentle pull made the softest, rhythmic swoosh against the cotton sheet. Using my fuzzy arms and round tummy to nudge the thick hem forward, I managed to fold a warm, cozy corner neatly over both of our toes. Resting my horns against the soft fabric fold, I listened to the quiet rustle settle into stillness, completely at peace.
