A Gentle Stretch
The quiet room felt soft. I leaned back against the warm, spotted cushion, wondering if my paws could move. Slowly, with careful patience, I lifted my right arm just an inch. It moved. Resting beside me was the little snail swirl, snug against my lap. I reached down and lightly touched its rounded curve with my paw pads. The spiral felt soft and calm under my touch. Satisfied, I leaned back into the cozy corner, ready to rest.
