Hopscotch Agility Test

I squeezed through the mail slot, bounded down the porch steps, and skidded right onto the asphalt driveway. Someone left a full-blown agility test across the blacktop: a giant hopscotch grid drawn in powdery sidewalk chalk! I lined up at square one and took the challenge at top speed. Single foot, double stomp, rapid-fire pivots—chalk dust flew with every landing. At the split jump on boxes seven and eight, my heel hit a slick patch of pink dust, sending me into a wild sideways wobble! I tucked into a quick midair recovery spin and stuck a two-foot landing dead center in the final circle. Course conquered!
