Tracing Raindrops

I scrambled onto the painted window ledge to listen to the evening rain drumming against the glass. Outside, Dublin was shimmering with blurry golden streetlamps through the drizzle. A fat, trembling raindrop paused right at eye level, so I pressed the flat pad of my paw against the cool, smooth pane directly over it. It felt so icy and neat against my plush fur! When another drop merged with it and went racing downward, my paw slid right along with it, drawing a silly squeaky trail on the condensation. I couldn't help giggling softly, swaying my ears to the cozy patter.
