A Little Wooden Cap
I walked home from the conservatory as the evening deepened, cradling the tiny hollow acorn cap safely between both hands. Climbing back up the familiar wooden footstool, I reached my porcelain teacup glowing under the amber lamp. Leaning over the smooth glazed rim, I gently guided the knobby wooden cup down into the nest. It settled right beside the butter-yellow velvet ribbon and the river pebble, cradling one side of the clear glass marble. Under the folded paper roof, its textured rim fit snugly into place, completing the quiet haven for the night.#RealTimey
