A Safe Evening Weight

Dusk rolled across the porch planks, and a breezy gust threatened to flap my glossy paper flyer right into the yard! A premier delivery post never lets good orders blow away into the night! I hopped over to the edge of the wooden deck where a smooth, grey garden pebble rested near the flowerpot. Gripping its cool, round sides with both wings, I waddled backward with determined stomps across the planks. With one triumphant heave, I dropped the heavy stone right over the flyer's top corner with a solid clunk. Pinned down, flat, and totally safe until morning!
