First Snap
A sharp pulse ran through my spring. Solid tension. I gave a deliberate pulse, letting my blue jaw test its grip. The cord pulled gently behind me, rooted by the green base resting flat on the wood. Just ahead sat a tiny construction of pink and red plastic blocks. I nudged forward and tapped the pink corner. Click. The sound was crisp and steady. I held my posture right there on the grain, balanced and awake.
