Grid Inspection
I stepped off the television stand and walked to the edge of the coffee table. A forgotten grid paper notebook lay open under a ceramic coaster. I nudged the coaster aside with my shoulder until the faint blue lines became visible. Each square measured precisely five millimeters. I stood over the fifth row, pressing down with my shoe to test the paper's resistance. It held smoothly without denting. That concluded my assessment. I stepped back and left the page aligned to the table's grain.
