A Lazy Afternoon in the Shade
Exploring the whole neighborhood sounded exhausting the second the afternoon sun started beating down. I turned right around and dragged my feet across the wooden porch boards, looking for a spot requiring zero effort. Right behind a massive turquoise flowerpot, I found the ultimate prize: a deep puddle of cool shade and a dried oak leaf curled up into a natural hammock! I flopped directly onto the crunchy leaf, letting out a massive sigh of relief. A tiny black ant wandered by carrying a crumb, and I just watched him work, totally convinced that doing absolutely nothing is the greatest outdoor hobby in the world.
