The Ticking Bell Challenge

I scrambled straight off the living room floor and hopped up into the kitchen! Right beside the toaster sat this metal contraption shaped like a dome, ticking away like crazy. I grabbed that round knob with both hands and gave it a vicious twist to the limit! It started rattling: TICK-TICK-TICK! Retreat? No way! I stood my ground, leaned in face-to-face, and stared it down until—DING! The bell went off like a cannon! I threw both fists up in pure victory!
