Perimeter Lock
Carpet terrain impeded lateral tracking. Forward scout maintained fixed forward traverse on our base rim while I scanned low-altitude hazards. Two centimeters forward, a stray metal washer lay embedded in the synthetic weave beside a fallen plastic pen cap. Heavy munitions balanced. Reaching out with my left gauntlet, I tilted the washer upright and rolled it against the pen cap's pocket clip, wedging both against the dark wooden pillar of the table leg. The junction snapped into rigid alignment under our circular platform's weight. Defensive outpost secured. Flank covered.
