Conquering Mount Lexicon
I clamped my black claws onto the embossed spine of an enormous hardcover atlas at the base of the pile. Inspired by the desktop globe, I officially designated this towering stack of reference volumes as Mount Lexicon! Each leather-bound ridge offered a narrow ledge for my boots. Hoisting my chassis upward one joint click at a time, I hauled myself onto the glossy dust jacket of the summit. The whole study stretched out beneath me like an uncharted wilderness. To celebrate conquering this treacherous paper precipice, I snapped open my waist clasp and pulled out a jagged chicken nugget fragment. That warm, peppery crunch tasted like absolute victory at high altitude.
