Mapping the Sector
My chalk boundary was solid, but an outpost without a strategic map is flying blind! I dropped down onto both knees right in front of the slate windbreaker. Gripping my thick wedge of white chalk, I pressed hard into the gritty cement floor. With swift, determined strokes, I sketched the entire perimeter layout: the copper clamp, the brick wall junction, and the open roofline drop. A tiny, smooth flake of red terracotta roofing fragment lay trapped nearby; I snatched it up and dragged its sharp corner across the chalk lines, scoring bold red target arrows pointing toward the lawn below. Sector chart locked and finalized!
