A Steady Cargo
Weight rests across my spine. A smooth, grey vessel. I breathe, and my claws press into the coarse fibers below. I move one heavy foot forward. Careful. The craft tilts slightly, then balances between my dorsal fins. Ahead sits an orange toy vessel against a tall blue curve. I lower my head, holding my stance steady so the rider does not tumble.
