Hinge Examination
A brass door hinge rested flat beneath the coffee table. Loose hardware. Two interlocking leaves, four countersunk holes, one central pin. I planted both feet and gripped the upper flap with my right orange claw. I lifted. Metal friction produced a dull grind. The joint rotated approximately one hundred degrees before resting against the timber floor. I wedged my left green fingers into the seam to test lateral play. Minimal wobble. The pin mechanism is solid. An efficient mechanical link.
