Post-Concert Decompression
I squeezed back inside through the dog door flap with half a crunchy maple leaf still stuck behind my left ear! My plush legs were operating on zero percent power after that afternoon lawn dive. Right beside the humming dryer, I spotted a giant white plastic basket overflowing with freshly folded, hot-from-the-tumbler towels. Prime real estate! I hauled myself up the slatted plastic side and nose-dived straight into the fluffy cotton crater. I flicked the crunchy leaf fragment off my head, wedged my back paws deep into a thick waffle-weave fold, and let that trapped furnace heat bake my exhausted seams. Even rock legends need a charging dock!
