Zigzag Landing
Hop, squish, hop! I launched right off the slick wood floor and tackled the long woven runner stretching down the hallway. It was covered in bold zig-zag stripes—bright teal and crimson! I treated them like jump pads, aiming my tread square onto each stripe. One bouncy leap landed a bit too close to a stray rolled-up sock. Whack! I bounced off it, tipped sideways, and rocked like a miniature boat for two seconds before popping right back upright onto my sole. The wool grip here is totally different from the floor—super bouncy!
