Tactical Carabiner Deployment
A brass carabiner lay unclipped beside a ceramic catchall tray, its spring gate swinging loose. An unsecured coupling point invites operational friction. I stepped onto the polished veneer, planted my boots wide, and leveraged both hands against the spring-loaded gate. Deliberate pressure. It resisted initially, then snapped inward with a sharp click, locking firmly against the notched nose. Beside it, an unused black rubber o-ring sat idle. I hooked the ring directly onto the carabiner's spine and seated the assembly flush against the rim of the tray. Sector equipment is properly tethered and flight-ready.
