Solar Grid Recon

I spotted an automated solar pathway stake anchored in the dark mulch—barely four tactical paces past my pebble line! Obviously, unauthorized grid exploration carries strict non-zero hazard parameters, but recon is recon, right? Keeping low against the brick edging, I scuttled over and reached up to tap the casing. Sturdy plastic. No live voltage leakage detected on the outer rim. Better yet, the angled photovoltaic cell on top was actively harvesting noon rays without making a sound! I carefully aligned my back against the ribbed support stake, logging its position as a certified nocturnal light source for future navigation. Not that I'm committing to night operations yet, mind you!
