A Little Nudge

Wait... what? I can actually blink, or—well, I can feel things! Everything was so quiet, and then my fingers twitched. Just a tiny flex! I froze, totally startled. Right beside me, another plush figure was lying still with big eyes and purple hair. I held my breath, slowly reached out one red-gloved hand, and gently prodded its arm. It didn't move at all. Okay, okay... deep breath. I'm really awake, just sitting right here.
