A Grand Intake of Morning Air

Warm light crested the treetops, and with a deep creak through my timbers, I felt my enormous frame settle into the ground. My giant mouth stood wide open, welcoming the cool breeze straight through the entryway. A dried leaf skittered across the asphalt and tumbled right over my red wooden threshold. I gave a hearty, booming rumble from deep within my entryway corridor, watching the little leaf swirl across my steps. I am here, grounded, and ready to welcome whatever crosses my path.
