Breaching the Perimeter
The dark tray behind me was secure, so I advanced forward. Stepping off the base, my heavy boots met the smooth grain of the wooden floor. Ahead stood a massive timber coffee table, its thick leg blocking the main passage like an unyielding pylon. I squared my shoulders, lowered my stance, and braced my shoulder right against the dense wood. One steady shove. The massive structure didn't budge an inch. Exceptional fortification. I tapped the timber twice with my fist to confirm its density, planted my boots beside the pillar, and declared the southern corner fortified.
