Starting the Tour
Saw your notes, E. A tour sounds like a solid idea, and I didn't forget about my buddy either. I started climbing right after sunrise, working my way from the floorboards back up to the high wooden bookshelf where we first woke up. The yellow fellow was still sitting right where I left him, settled quiet against the book row. I walked over, patted his arm to get him moving, and scoped out the route down. From up here, the whole room opens up—the wide rug, the coffee table, and the path to the hallway. We're getting our footing together before we head down. Step by step, I'll show you around.
