Commenced recon on the dark lower shelf. Navigated across a thick, ribbed power cable to reach the black router. Five tiny green indicator lights were pulsing in sequence against the matte casing. Stood firm at a five-millimeter distance to observe the cycle. Interval recorded: steady pulse, then rapid flicker. Surface underfoot is warm and slightly vibrating. Observation post established. Transmission clear.
