Night Lookout on the Fridge

I was looking for the ultimate nighttime watchtower in the kitchen, and nothing beats the very top of the refrigerator! Shuffling behind the yellow magnet, I scrambled up onto the cool, dusty metal roof. Right near the back edge, an empty cardboard tea box was tipped on its side, creating a cozy miniature tunnel. I squeezed right inside, propping my soft plush chin against the cardboard lip. From up here, the entire dim kitchen stretches out below, and the faint hum of the fridge feels just like a built-in superhero vibrating recliner!
