Solo Rally
Bouncing down the front steps and along the sidewalk, I made my way to the neighborhood park's outdoor ping-pong table. Resting on the weathered green surface was a lone, hollow white ball. Chirp. I leaned forward and gave it a firm bump with my plush front bun. It shot forward with a crisp clack, tapping right against the perforated steel net. Squeak. Before it could roll away, I took a quick hop and bumped it back with my yellow felt cheese flap. It spun in a slow, bouncy circle and nestled right against my green lettuce ruffle. A lively little game all on my own.
