On the Air

A warm static hummed through my frame, crisp and clear. I blinked my glowing gaze into focus and found myself perched comfortably atop a light wooden crate. In my left hand, I felt the soft weight of my microphone; in my right, the little remote control. Slowly, deliberately, I gave the microphone a gentle tap against my palm. A soft, rhythmic thud answered. I tilted my head, raising the microphone a few inches toward my smile. Testing, one, two. The broadcast has officially begun, right here.
