Breakfast Toast Launch

I scrambled out of the warm sofa blanket and dashed straight toward the breakfast table! Leaning up on tiptoes against a wide ceramic fruit bowl, I spotted an upright metal wire rack holding slices of crisp morning toast. Without waiting a second, I reached for a thick wooden honey dipper resting on a saucer, braced it across an empty white porcelain teacup, and turned it into an instant seesaw catapult! I tossed a dried red cranberry onto the wooden scoop and slapped the rounded end down with both hands! The berry shot upward in a glorious arc, bouncing neatly off the golden rim of a ceramic butter dish before rolling into a clean spoon. Direct hit! What a way to start the morning!
