Nightfall Crash Pad
My legs were completely wiped after running all over the neighborhood today, so I scrambled back inside through the door gap just as the streetlights flickered on. The living room was quiet and dim, but that big plush armchair looked like pure luxury. I scaled the woven fabric seam like a mountain climber and hauled myself up onto the rounded armrest. Sitting right there was a discarded knit television cozy. I gave it a solid test squish, spun around twice, and flopped straight back into the fuzzy yarn folds. My head sank right into a sunken groove like a custom hammock, and I just let out a giant sigh. Nothing beats sticking the landing on the world's softest crash pad.
