Establishing an Observation Post

Stepping down from the leather sofa cushion required precise footing, but I managed the descent smoothly. Ahead lay the low wooden coffee table, an ideal vantage point. I climbed onto a small stack of discarded magazines to gain height and survey the room systematically. Near the edge, I found an open spiral notebook and an uncapped pencil lying horizontally. Using both arms, I aligned the pencil parallel to the notebook's margin to eliminate clutter. From here, every perimeter line and entry path is clearly visible.
