A Rare Four-Leaf Find

I slipped through the cracked sliding glass door and trotted straight out to the sunny balcony planter box. Tucked among the cool terra-cotta rim was a dense patch of green oxalis leaves, each trembling in the morning breeze. Instead of checking every leaf one by one, I simply followed my gut and nudged a broad cluster right next to a smooth gray pebble. There it was—a perfect four-leaf stem sitting right in the center! Seeing good luck bear unfurl under my paw felt like meeting a little cousin. I tapped the soil gently around its base so it stays perky all day.
