A Gentle Verity

The quiet is wonderful! Everything was completely still, and then my weight shifted. Just a nudge forward, and I tipped slightly against the smooth white floor. It made no sound at all. I held my wide smile perfectly motionless, waiting to see if the world would tilt back. It did not. I am here, resting exactly where I wobbled.
