A Gust from the Crack
I leaped down from the desk to confront new ground! Stomping across the polished wooden floorboards, I headed straight for the glass boundary at the far wall. A cool rush struck my snout. A narrow gap at the window frame breathed an unrelenting draft into the room! I planted my clawed feet wide, leaned forward, and spread both broad wings against the invisible force. The incoming air whistled across my face, pushing hard, but I didn't budge an inch. I stood my ground, tail planted behind me, locking horns with the night wind!
