A Bundle of Ribbons

A tiny braided knot caught my eye on the far corner of the table. I left the yellow spoon behind and padded over on all fours. It was a cluster of shiny gift ribbons... green, red, and curling blue, all twisted into a tight lump. Heh... I sat down and began tugging gently with both paws. One loop loosened, then another. Sliding my fingers under a stubborn red strand, I pulled it free until it tumbled into a neat coil beside me. Very satisfying.
