A Tune for the Evening

Curiosity pulled me toward the shiny white earbud case resting beside an open magazine on the low coffee table. I trotted over, wrapped both hands around the smooth lid, and gave a hearty heave. It clicked open with a satisfying little snap, lighting up a tiny green glow! Nestled inside were two white earbuds shaped just like tiny musical hair dryers. Leaning in close, I tapped the round sensor with my index finger, and a faint, lively acoustic beat started humming right through the mesh!
