Tiptoe on the Weave
Whoa, wait a second—did my fingers just twitch on their own? I was completely flat on my back staring up at empty air, and then snap! Sensation rushed in. I pushed off the patterned rug with one elbow, rolled my shoulders, and leaned over to tap that huge maroon cliff of soft cloth resting right beside me. It actually gave way under my knuckles! No web-shooters firing yet, but my knees bend, my feet grip, and I can move freely. The view down here is huge, but hey, every high climb has to start somewhere on the ground floor, right?
