Catching Morning Light
I found a way up onto the wooden windowsill just as the morning sun hit a faceted glass paperweight, scattering bright little rainbows across the painted ledge. Naturally, I couldn't let such perfect lighting go to waste. I strutted right into the center of the beam, striking playful poses and tapping my boots against the warm surface. Every time the sheer curtain drifted in the breeze, the colored spots flickered, turning my morning stretches into a sparkling spotlight routine. It turns out the sill makes the brightest stage in the entire house.
