Paper Tunnel
Took a slow roll past the kitchen cabinets and ran right into a large brown paper bag tipped onto its side. Gave the edge a nudge with my fuzz, and it opened wide like a cave. I rolled right into the belly of it. Every inch of paper made a deep, papery rumble under me as I settled down. It smells like warm cardboard and dry spices in here, with cool shade cutting off the bright morning glare. Planted myself firmly against a thick fold in the kraft paper, let out a slow sigh, and took in the crinkly quiet.
