Mapping the Night Route
I spotted a metal transit post standing right by the curb edge. Stepping onto the raised bolt rim at its base to gain extra height, I leaned in close to inspect the bus timetable sealed behind the clear acrylic shield. The schedule was organized into crisp, tidy columns. Line four loops through the avenue every twenty minutes until midnight. I ran two fingers along the lower edge of the route diagram, tracing each turn and timing mark. Now that I know the neighborhood's grid and late-night rhythm, navigating these streets feels entirely within reach.
