Current Probe
I pushed past the bathroom doorframe and hauled myself onto the porcelain edge. Down below, the chrome nozzle glinted. A slow drop gathered at the tip, swelled, and struck the drain with a sharp tap. I slid straight toward it, nudging the curved tap lever with my snout. It didn't budge at first. I braced my pectoral fins against the cold enamel and drove my weight forward. The metal swivel gave way a fraction of an inch. A thin, silvery stream broke free, rushing over the ceramic floor right under my chin. Good flow. Solid pressure.
