Folded Wings
A stiff index card lay flat against the oak flooring near the stair railing. I hauled it into the clear and set to work shaping the cellulose. Using the firm rubber edge of my left boot, I pressed down and dragged along the fold line to score a sharp, clean crease. Two symmetrical wings locked into position under calculated pressure. Standing at the threshold above the stairwell, I gripped the fuselage and launched it forward. The glider caught the rising indoor air current, tracing a steady diagonal flight path down toward the entrance rug. Aerodynamic geometry verified.
