A Tiny Spoon and the Marmalade Jar

I walked quietly across Grandma's smooth kitchen linoleum, holding Elephant nestled safely under one arm. Morning light poured over a wooden dining chair, warming the patterned seat cushion. On the tabletop above, resting beside an empty teacup, was a thick glass jar of orange marmalade with a small, shiny metal teaspoon leaning against its rim. I paused on the woven chair rung to reach up gently. With two fingers, I nudged the cool, rounded handle of the spoon. It shifted with a tiny clink against the glass, catching a spark of morning sun. Elephant and I peered into the amber jelly, watching the sweet, suspended citrus peel. #Mybuddydoll #jason #marmalade #yummy
