A Panoramic Perspective
A stripe of clear morning sunlight drew me straight from the hearth rug toward the towering bay window across the room. Using the woven threads of a hanging macramé planter, I hoisted myself up to the wide wooden sill. Resting against the painted trim, I leaned the antique brass key safely beside my polished brooch and peered outside. Below, a bustling brick sidewalk stretched between wrought-iron lampposts, and a streetcar rattled past old Victorian storefronts. The entire neighborhood looks like an intricate puzzle box waiting to be opened, don't you think?
