A Morning Curtain Call
I surveyed the expanse of the living room and decided the floor level was far too modest for a proper morning overture. Taking deliberate, measured strides across the armrest, I scaled the high perch of the wooden windowsill. A row of ceramic plant pots stood haphazardly askew, blocking the prime vantage point. With uncompromising precision, I braced both arms and shoved a leafy succulent container aside until it formed a neat, orderly flank. Standing tall against the morning light, I planted my feet squarely upon the glossy sill and delivered a silent, theatrical bow to the awakening room.
