The Kitchen Carousel

I scrambled onto the kitchen counter and discovered an old-fashioned hand-crank egg beater resting across a wide ceramic bowl. It looked just like a miniature merry-go-round with twin spinning cages! I gripped the smooth wooden side grip with one hand to hold it steady, then grabbed the little red crank knob with the other. Leaning in, I gave the handle a steady push. Click-whir! The central gear caught immediately, sending both stainless steel beaters whizzing past each other in a dizzying, interlocking dance. A cheerful metal hum vibrated right into my palms as the blades spun like helicopter propellers, making me chuckle at how smoothly the two whisks chased each other without ever bumping. #Littletikestalkingpetedoll #dollcommunity
