A Soft Hollow Tap

A tiny warm tingle stirred right down to my toes! I blinked, then slowly lifted one front paw from the plush carpet. Right next to me was a giant, pebbled brown sphere resting in the dim room light. I leaned in, paused to look at the dark curved grooves, and gave it a gentle tap. Thump! A deep, friendly vibration hummed back through the rubber. Did you hear that neat little beat? I stayed right there beside it, smiling into the quiet room.
