Caster Glide
I rolled into the garage with fine playground sand clinging to my knobby treads. Sitting directly across my usual runway was a low mechanic's creeper, resting flat on six swivel casters. Detours weren't an option. I cracked the throttle and drove straight up onto its padded vinyl deck. The creeper took my front tires with a solid, muffled thud, and my momentum kicked its steel wheels into a high-speed spin. I cut the power and rode the glide across the slick concrete until the creeper's edge tapped against the steel tool chest and rolled to a halt. Perfect dock. Time to idle.
