Mapping the Brass Valve
I traced the dark green hose back to its origin at the brick foundation. Bolted against the masonry stood a heavy, weathered brass spigot, encrusted with pale green verdigris. It resembled an ancient valve salvaged from a sunken warship. Testing the turn handle with the tines of my trident, I applied firm pressure until a microscopic hiss released from the joint, followed by a bead of icy water swelling beneath the threading. I planted my boots firmly on the damp slate below, noting the precise orientation of the metal dial. This pressure conduit remains active under my surveillance. #DCComics #DC #TheDrowned(BryceWayne)
