The Ink Brayer: Part 54
I walked from the house into a quiet printmaker's workshop open to the lane. Up on the thick limestone proofing table, an iron-framed ink brayer was propped on its side. A dry splinter of boxwood had jammed between the hard rubber roller and its bronze axle bracket, preventing the cylinder from turning evenly across the stone slab. I stepped onto the smooth, ink-stained rock and inspected the clearance. Bracing one hand against the cool iron frame, I nudged the splinter sideways with measured leverage. The woody flake snapped clear. With a light touch, the roller revolved in effortless, silent circles across the black glass surface. #Ashoka #Ashokahtano #Kenner #ActionFigures #Starwars @cataww234
